Camera Autobind Agent
Video feed drops: manual reset → self-healed mid-recording.
Challenge
The studio camera dropped its feed when USB ports changed or the connection blipped — killing recordings midway and forcing manual source surgery in OBS.
Solution
A Lua script inside OBS watches the camera source and rebinds it automatically across port changes and feed drops, without stopping the recording.
Impact
Feed drops became a non-event. The camera heals itself faster than a human could open the settings panel.
